Your information, and what we do with it

When you register we ask for your first name and email, and optionally your last name, phone, city, whether you are coming in person or virtually, how many guests you are bringing, what you are interested in, how you heard about us, and anything we should know to make the day work for you.

The vendor and partner forms ask for business details instead: your organization, contact information, what you offer, and whether you hold a county health permit if you are serving samples. We do not ask vendors for insurance details — Bloom Day carries the event policy.

The Bloom Moai list asks for your name, your business, and an email or phone, because the circle is for women entrepreneurs and we need to know who you are before the first gathering.

The Digital Bloom Wall asks for a display name and a short message. Both are published on the site the moment you post them, so put nothing there you would not want read aloud.

The Hot Seat question form is genuinely anonymous. It stores your question and nothing else — no name, no email, no account. We read questions before they go on the screen, and the screen never shows a name.

To plan the day — 350 totes, passport stamps, tasting flights, chairs, and accessibility.

To send you your confirmation, and then occasional email about Bloom Day, the Midlife Bloom Method, and the Bloom Retreat.

If you tick the retreat box, your name also goes on the retreat founding list, which is a separate list with its own emails.

The Bloom Moai list is its own list too, with its own emails, because it is a separate commitment from the event.

The event team, and the services that run this site: Netlify hosts the site and the database, and Resend delivers the email. That is the whole list.

Vendor table fees are paid on a Stripe page, and Stripe handles the card details there — the card number never reaches this site or us.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or trade it with vendors or sponsors. A vendor at Bloom Day never receives the attendee list.

Photographs and video are taken at Bloom Day, including at the photo arch and during the closing circle, and they are used to promote future events. Tell a volunteer or the photographer if you would rather not be in them.

Registration and list information stays until you ask us to remove it. Vendor and partner records stay as long as we need them for the event and its follow-up. Hot Seat questions are deleted after the event, since there is nobody attached to them to notify.

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link. You can also email or call us and ask to be removed, corrected, or sent a copy of what we hold, and we will do it.

To take something down from the Bloom Wall, email us with the display name you used.

Bloom Day is an adult event and the forms are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
