Bloom Day 2026
Terms and conditions
Bloom Day is free, and it is run by a small team who would rather you read this than skip it. Here is what you are agreeing to when you register, bring a table, or post to the wall, in the same plain language as everything else on this site.
Last updated September 2026.
Read this one first
Bloom Day is education and celebration, not medical care. Nothing here or on the day is a diagnosis or a treatment plan, and nothing should change what your own clinician told you. The full wording is under “This is not medical care”.
Your spot, and the cap
Bloom Day is free and RSVP is required, because the room holds 350 and we packed 350 totes. A registration holds one spot plus any guests you tell us about on the form.
A spot is not a ticket and there is nothing to print. Check in by name at the door, collect your tote, your passport, and your petal pin.
If your plans change, tell us so the spot goes to someone on the waiting list. There is nothing to refund and no penalty, just a seat that would otherwise sit empty in a capped room.
If we have to move or cancel the day for weather, venue, or public-health reasons, we will email everyone registered at the address they gave us and post it on this site. Because the event is free, there is nothing to refund. Vendors and sponsors are covered separately below.
We may close registration before the date if we reach capacity, and we would rather do that than oversell the room.
This is not medical care
Shanae Smith is ISSA CPT · CFNC · CCWS, which is a certified personal trainer, a certified functional nutrition counselor, and a certified corporate wellness specialist. She is not a physician, and neither is anyone on the event team.
Everything at Bloom Day, including the panel, the keynote, the activations, the handouts, and this website, is general education and encouragement. None of it is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or medical advice, and none of it is a substitute for talking to your own clinician.
Some of our panelists and vendors are licensed clinicians. Anything they say from the stage or across a table at a free community event is general information, not care, and it does not make them your provider.
Do not start, stop, or change a medication, a supplement, or a treatment because of something you heard at Bloom Day. Take it to your own doctor first. If you are pregnant, managing a heart condition, or living with any condition that makes exertion or new foods risky for you, talk to your clinician before you take part in the physical or tasting activations.
If you feel unwell on the day, find a volunteer in a Bloom Day shirt. In an emergency we will call 911.
The activations, and taking part
The afternoon is built around things you do rather than things you sit through, and taking part is always your choice. You can walk any zone, skip any station, and still stay for the whole day.
The STRENGTHEN zone includes a grip-strength test on a hand dynamometer and other movement activities. These are voluntary, self-paced, and you decide when to stop. By taking part you accept the ordinary risks of physical activity and confirm you are well enough to do it.
You are responsible for your own belongings, and for any guest or child you bring into the room. Bloom Day is built for adults; there is no childcare and no supervised space for children.
The Pavilion at Sunrise Park is a City of Palm Springs facility and its own rules apply while you are in it, alongside these.
Tastings, samples, and allergies
The NOURISH zone serves a tasting flight, and vendors elsewhere in the room may hand out food, drink, or skincare samples. Everything served is prepared by the vendor offering it, under their own county health permit.
We cannot guarantee any sample is free of a given allergen, and we cannot guarantee a shared surface has not touched one. If you have a food allergy, a sensitivity, or a dietary restriction that matters, ask the person at the table what is in it before you take it, and when in doubt do not.
Tell us about it on the registration form as well, under "anything we should know". That is what the field is for, and we read every one.
Photographs, video, and the livestream
A photographer works the room all afternoon, the photo arch exists to be photographed at, and part of the day is streamed live: the welcome, the keynote, and The Hot Seat, 3:30 to 4:45 PM Pacific, with replay access for 72 hours afterwards.
By coming to Bloom Day you agree that we may photograph and record you, and use those images and that footage to promote the Midlife Bloom Method and future events, in print, on this site, in email, and on social media, without payment and without a time limit.
You can opt out, and it is genuinely no trouble. Tell a volunteer or the photographer when you arrive and we will note it and keep you out of the frame. If a photo of you is already published and you want it down, email us and we will remove it.
Please do not photograph or record another attendee without asking her first. Women talk about real things in this room, and some of them are not for anyone else’s feed.
What you post: the Bloom Wall and The Hot Seat
The Digital Bloom Wall publishes what you write the moment you write it, under whatever display name you choose. Cards also get printed and hung on the physical wall in the CONNECT zone and photographed during the day, so treat anything you post there as public and permanent.
By posting to the wall you give us permission to display, print, and photograph what you wrote, alongside the display name you used. Keep it to your own words: do not post someone else’s writing, someone else’s private business, or anything you would not want read aloud.
The Hot Seat question form is anonymous and stores nothing but the question: no name, no email, no address. A team lead reads every question before it reaches the screen, and we may edit one for length or decline it entirely. Approved questions go on a projector in front of up to 350 people, which is the whole point, so ask the thing you actually want answered and leave anyone else’s name out of it.
We can take anything down from either place, at any time, without explaining why. To remove a wall card, email us with the display name you used.
How to be in the room
One rule, and it covers everything: this room is safe for every woman in it. What gets said here about symptoms, sex, marriages, and bodies stays here.
Harassment, filming someone who asked you not to, selling from the floor if you did not buy a table, and pushing a product or a diagnosis at another attendee are all out of bounds. So is repeating something you overheard, to anyone.
If someone makes the room feel unsafe, find any volunteer. We would rather hear about it during the afternoon than after it.
We can ask anyone to leave, at any point, for any of the above. There is nothing to refund; there is just a room that stays worth being in.
The passport, The Drop, and the prizes
Four stamps by 6:15 PM = a bonus entry in The Drop. Sign the Blue Zones Personal Pledge at the CONNECT station between 5:15 and 6:00 PM for a fifth stamp and a second bonus entry.
Prizes are donated by vendors, sponsors, and partners, and the pool is whatever has been donated by the day. We cannot promise a specific prize, and we may substitute one of similar value.
You need to be in the room at the 6:15 PM drawing to claim a prize. No purchase is necessary, nothing is for sale to enter, and the drawing is open to registered attendees aged 18 or over.
Prizes are not transferable and have no cash value. Any tax on a prize is the winner’s to handle.
Vendors, sponsors, and tables
A vendor table is $150 for the afternoon, paid online through our payment page, and it is the only thing on this site payable by card. Sponsorships are agreed in conversation and invoiced; nothing about a sponsorship is bought from a page.
Table fees are non-refundable once your table is confirmed, because the fee is what pays for the space we then hold for you. If we cancel the whole event, table fees are refunded in full. If you cancel, tell us as early as you can and we will do what we can with the waiting list, but the fee stands.
Confirmation is rolling and a submitted intake is not yet a table. We confirm by email, and we may decline an application, including because a zone is full or the fit is not right for a room of women 40+.
Load-in and load-out run to the times on the vendor page, and load-in is not flexible: it opens at 12:00 PM, doors open to 350 women at 3:00 PM, and a half-built table is not something we can have on the floor. Breakdown is done by 8:00 PM.
You bring your own table covering, signage, and anything you need to display. You are responsible for your own county health permit if you are serving anything consumable, for your own sales tax and licensing, and for your own goods and equipment all afternoon. Bloom Day carries the event policy; it does not cover your inventory.
You keep your own sales and your own leads from your own table. You do not receive the attendee list, and you may not collect contact details from attendees anywhere except at your own table.
Logos and business names on our signage, welcome-bag inserts, and this site are used as you supply them and as you consented to on the intake form, for this event and its follow-up.
Email, and leaving the list
Registering puts you on the Bloom Day list, and we will email you about Bloom Day, the Midlife Bloom Method, and the Bloom Retreat. Ticking the retreat box adds you to the retreat founding list, which is separate and has its own emails.
Every email has an unsubscribe link and it works immediately. You can also just ask us and we will do it by hand.
What we collect, why, and how to have it removed is set out in full in our privacy notice, and that notice is part of these terms.
This site, and this brand
Midlife Bloom Method™ and the Bloom Day name, marks, and materials belong to Oasis Integrated Wellness Solutions, a DBA of Renew Health & Fitness, LLC. You are welcome to share this page, post about the day, and use #BloomDay2026 as much as you like. Please do not use the marks to suggest we endorse, sponsor, or supply something we do not.
We try to keep everything on this site accurate, and details of a free community event do change. Times, panelists, vendors, and the run of show may shift, and the version on this page is the current one.
We may update these terms. The date at the top is when we last did, and material changes go out by email to everyone registered.
Nothing here takes away a right you have under California or federal consumer law that cannot be waived.
Who you are agreeing with
Oasis Integrated Wellness Solutions, a DBA of Renew Health & Fitness, LLC, operating as Oasis Integrated Wellness Solutions under the Midlife Bloom Method™ brand, in Palm Springs, California. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
If something here reads wrong, unfair, or unclear, tell us. This was written by the people running the event, and we would rather fix a sentence than argue about one.
